We have been using Huggies since Aiden was born and we really loved them. They worked great for his bum, were easy, and we super soft.
With Oliver we just didn’t want to spend the money on the high-end diapers. We tried Walmart, Target, and even Sam’s Club brands. They felt like plastic to touch, can you imagine how they would feel on a newborn’s sensitive little bottom? I needed a better solution.
That’s when I stumbled on the cloth diaper revolution.
Diapers these days don’t need safety pins to keep them together, diagrams to teach you hold to fold them, and even *gasp* swirling of the diapers in the toilet to clean them. They are much, much easier than that.
and they are cute! Cloth diapers can save a family 2K per kid. Cloth diapers are one size (fancy snaps to make smaller and can be undone as the little one grows bigger) so once you buy your cloth diaper wardrobe you are done.
The photo below brings up the other very obvious issue with disposable diapers.
I think I’m just going to leave it at that. We made the switch and are saving money, saving the planet, and putting super soft, super comfy diapers on our little one 🙂
